These 3 Starving Orphans Have Gone Through Hell, But Then Something Astonishing Happens
The Yeckes triplets lost their mother when they were just 3 years old. Their father was incarcerated when they were in the 6th grade, and they went to live with their grandmother, who did not even enroll the children in school until they were 8 years old.
After their dad was released, they moved back in with him, but he would leave the young girls alone for weeks at a time. They were finally removed from their father’s custody when their home was involved in a shooting while he was gone.
But then, things got a lot better.
FOX5 Surprise Squad stepped in and surprised the girls at their graduation ceremony. They not only interviewed the triplets and shared their story, the news team also gathered together some well-deserved surprises for the three survivors. The station itself gave each graduate $5,000 cash to help with college expenses.
But that wasn’t all…
