I think this is the first time in my life a school assignment done by a seven-grader moved me to tears, a poem nonetheless, but everything this girl said hits a little too close to heart. So beautiful I’m tearing up.
With 26 million views and counting, I’m not the only one this poem resonated with. It was recorded by the teacher to show other classes but someone uploaded it to Facebook and it went viral.
