Sometimes life is more incredible than any fiction could ever be. When this driver crashed his truck off the longest bridge in the world and into the water below, it was only the swift reaction of other motorists and their daring rescue that saved the man’s life.

The first to respond was Al Pike, who was driving to work when he saw a car in front of him smash through the railing. He immediately slammed on the brakes and literally jumped into action. Others called 911 and formed a human chain helping the two men out of the water. The pictures taken during the rescue are simply breath-taking.
