Dining out with an autistic child is not the easiest thing to do, but it’s not the kid’s behavior that’s tough to deal with. It’s the behavior of ignorant people around them.

Lisa Goring, a mother of an autistic boy and a representative of AutismSpeak.org knows only too well about the challenges of dealing with rude people so she was called in as an advisor in this unique experiment. They set up a very likely scenario involving a family of an autistic boy and an extremely rude customer who demanded the family to leave. The reaction of other customers left me speechless.
