Tiny Baby Quails Hatch From Their Eggs, Then Huge German Shepherd Adopts Them As His Own

I’ve never seen chicks this tiny before. You’d be wrong if you thought they were weak and defenseless though, because they have an amazing guardian angel watching over them.

These tiny dwarf quails hatched in the family of the big German Shepherd named Thorin. While the huge difference in size may be enough to intimidate some creatures, these babies rushed towards the confused dog who surprisingly enough accepted his newly appointed role of a babysitter. We’ve seen our fair share of strange friendships, but this is as unlikely as they get. Thorin may be big, but this proves he has a soft side to him.
