Kids Won’t Play With Special Needs Girl At The Pool, So Dad Builds Her A $17 Million Theme Park

Every child (and adults alike) can agree that spending a day at a Water park is the best way to cool off, but even though it’s true for most people, climbing up to the water slide and getting in and out of a pool is difficult, if not impossible, for thousands of people living with some form of disability.

After his special needs daughter was shunned from a local water park, this San Antonio businessman invested 17 million dollars into the first ultra-accessible water park in the country. It features wheelchair accessible rides, and even has the first ever wheelchair powered by compressed air.
