Fox hunting in England may sound like the noblemen’s sport but there’s nothing noble in defenseless animals being mauled to death by hounds. That’s exactly what would have happened here if it weren’t for this courageous hunt monitor who literally threw herself in front of the dogs’ snapping jaws to save this fox.

Even though she was bitten by the terrified animal, the woman rushed it to safety while her colleague was filming the rescue the entire time. For anyone interested, the fox was rehabilitated and relocated to an area where it would be safe from hunting.
