Looks Like A Handicap Parking Spot? And It Is, But Try To Park In It And …GENIUS!

One thing is for sure – this campaign pushes the limits of what you can do with technology. It’s not an advertisement, it’s a way of helping the disabled fight for their rights.

Over 30% of Russian drivers park in handicap spots. That’s why a Russian non-profit dislife.ru started an initiative to give face to the parking spots they belong to through a clever use of cameras and projectors. First the camera tries to detect a disabled sticker on a windshield and if there’s none, the projector casts a hologram on a thin layer of mist invisible to a human eye. You can imagine what kind of effect it has on drivers. The ultimate guilt trip.
