St. Baldrick’s Foundation got an unlikely spokesperson when they randomly gave one of their flyers to Katelyn. It was that exact moment that sparked a brainstorm that not only provided the children’s cancer charity with tons of media coverage, but this 10 year old little girl managed to singlehandedly raise over 7000 dollars.
Still it’s a donation of other kind that started it all, and even though most moms would never allow their daughters to do it, the fact that she did it makes her a real hero.
