Teary-Eyed Nurse Sings Dying Patient’s Favorite Song To Comfort Her In Her Last Hours

Working as a nurse you can either become cold and intolerant to human suffering, or you can strive to become someone like Nurse Olivia Neufelder.

Megan Smith recorded a video of Nurse Olivia singing to her terminally ill mother Margaret only hours before she passed away. The teary-eyed Neufelder sang the patient’s favorite song “Dancing in the Sky” by Dani and Lizzy while holding her hands the entire time.

Smith later wrote an open letter to this amazing lady saying:

“Your dedication to your patients is beyond any that I have seen, you truly are a beam of light and I cannot thank you enough for the compassion and care and love you shared for my mother”

We couldn’t agree more. This is one of the most emotional videos I’ve ever seen.
