No Corkscrew? Here’s How To Open A Bottle Of Wine Using Only A Key

From the King of household hacks comes another trick that can get you out of uncomfortable situation. Corkscrews are really unique items… they don’t have any alternatives. If you need to open a bottle of wine and you don’t have one, you’re pretty much screwed (pun intended). Well this guy figured out how to do it using only your key.

When you think about it, the key is indeed the second best thing for the job…  it’s inherently strong, relatively pointy and it has a jagged edge which helps it penetrate the cork. So once you jam it in, you’ll have a nice firm grip and simply twist that sucker out. I don’t know if anyone can do it, but his aluminum foil hack is a life saver.
