Opera Singer Undergoes Risky Brain Tumor Surgery, But Wait For The Moment He Starts To Sing
Even with all of our understanding of human body, our brain is still pretty much a mystery. That’s why neurosurgeons often do awake craniotomies during which they have a conversation with the patient so they can assess the effect each cut has on them.
Professional opera singer Ambroz Bajec-Lapajne opted to do something better. When he was on an operating table for a brain tumor removal, he wanted to sing. I can safely say this is the best performance by a person who has his skull cut open I’ve ever heard. There’s no blood or open flesh in this video but the performance does get kinda “strange” after a 2:45 mark.
