He’s Just Drawing Lines On A Block Of Glass, But The Finished Piece? Astonishing!

I’ve always thought glass was a pretty boring medium for art. It’s colorless and transparent, what could you possibly do with it but heat it up and blow it into curly shapes? Well this guy found a way. It’s slow and labor intensive but the end product is such a fantastic piece of artwork it looks as if he was using light itself to make it.

Through seemingly never ending process of cutting, polishing and gluing pieces of glass, he creates a three-dimensional light sculpture that seems as if it’s suspended in the block of clear glass. It’s so beautiful it looks like something out of fantasy.
