Pianist Plays On Iceberg As Glaciers Crumble Around Him. Captured Footage Is Impossible To Forget

It’s so poetic that acclaimed Italian composer and pianist Ludovico Einaudi decided to premier his latest piece on a floating platform in the Arctic circle. The piece is called “Elegy for the Arctic”, a unique goodbye to the inhospitable yet gorgeous corner of the globe we keep trying to destroy.

The most amazing part of Einaudi’s concert is the fact that as he was performing his piece, the glaciers behind him kept calving and crashing down into the ocean…  It in its own makes a big statement about the state of our environment. You can argue if this is the most beautiful song on the subject ever written, but it is definitely the most powerful one.
