When Debbie Davis took a photo of a police officer sitting by the side of the road with what appeared to be some stray dogs and posted it on Facebook, she didn’t expect hundreds of shares and the story reaching the news. Most people would not even bother to call the humane society, let alone stop and comfort the dogs. As it turned out, the dogs were separated from their owner and got lost in a freezing cold. The humble hero only felt that the four legged citizens needed as much protection as the rest of us.
