School Bus Full With Kids Catches Fire, But Quick-Thinking Autistic Boy Saves The Day
A charred shell was all that remained of a school bus that was carrying 7 special needs children home from school. The accident could have potentially been deadly, but fortunately no one was harmed thanks to one 10 year old boy.
Alex Perez who has autism was the first one who spotted something was wrong and his mom thinks his condition has a lot to do with it. Alex has high sensory autism, which means he can pick up smells easily, so when he smelled smoke coming from an engine he alerted the driver only minutes before the bus burst into flames.
