Teen With Failing Heart Breaks Down When Mom Says The Hospital Has A New Heart For Her

I can’t even imagine what it’s like waiting for the most important call of your life, a call that makes a difference between life and death. Waiting for that call would be incredibly difficult for anyone, let alone this seemingly fragile teen girl.

After she visited the doctor because she wasn’t feeling well, they discovered her heart was failing and she needed urgent heart transplant. They gave her a little pager because if they ever find a donor, they need to take her to surgery as soon as possible, and so she waited. Her reaction after she got a life changing message had me in tears. Such a brave girl.
