From 1920’s up until 1990’s there were no wolves in Yellowstone National Park. Big deal, you might say, wolves are scary and dangerous, why would anyone want them around? Well, besides putting the park’s ecosystem in balance, which in turn led to reappearance of countless other species, after their reintroduction they literally changed the behavior of rivers, they changed the geography.
